Jim Bob Bennett

Jim Bob Bennett, 71, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jim Bob was born September 4, 1943 in Graham to the late James and Jimmie Mae (Price) Bennett.  He married Martha Stovall February 17, 1968 in Graham.  Jim Bob graduated from Graham High School and attended TCU and North Texas.  He was a rancher and oilman and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.  

Survivors include: wife, Martha Bennett of Graham; daughter, Courtney Thomas and husband, Brad of Austin; sons, Kirk Bennett of Dallas, Rob Bennett and wife, Kim of Dallas, and Cam Bennett and wife, Courtney of Graham; brothers, Joe Bill Bennett and wife, Janet of Colleyville and Jeff Bennett of Keller; grandchildren, Lydia and Luke Thomas of Austin, Walker, Collier, and Kintner Bennett of Graham, Brock  and Hollis Bennett of Dallas.
