James "Jim" Albert Brammer, Jr. started his journey to heaven early Sunday morning, November 17, 2013 at the age of 60. Jim battled cancer for two and half years, and was surrounded by his loving family members while he passed away peacefully at his home in Argyle. He was born October 3, 1953 to James Brammer, Sr. and Gloria Cline Lilly in Odessa, Texas.
Jim was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his children and wife, Amy Brammer, whom he married in Windthorst, TX on December 30th, 1988. Jim was full of life and compassion. He enjoyed music and was passionate about the Argyle Football team. During the past years, he coined the phrase "I love you all and I'm still running" that he would say after every cancer set back.
Jim's memory will still be running in the hearts of his friends and loved ones forever.
The family will receive friends for visitation at 10am on Wednesday, Nov. 20th at the Morrison Funeral Home in Graham, TX. The funeral service will begin at 2pm the same day at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Graham.
Jim's large family meant the world to him. He was loved unconditionally by his daughters Meradith Brammer, Morgan Brammer Rhine, Megan Brammer Widner, Nicole Brammer, and Caitlin Brammer and his son, Kris Anderson. His legacy will live on with his grandchildren, Jolie and Jenna Widner and Landyn Rhine.
He is also survived by his father, Jim Brammer, Sr. and wife Viola of Graham, Mother, Gloria Lilly of Brownwood, Brothers, Richard Brammer of Abilene, Jeff Brammer of Midland, John Mahan of Graham, sisters, Diane Brammer Wooten of Odessa, Malinda Mahan of Abilene and Robin Mahan of Poteet.
