Jim Dodson

Jim C. Dodson, 73, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in Wichita Falls.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Wichita Falls under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jim was born August 16, 1941 to the late Carlton M. and Arlice M. (Easley) Dodson.  He married Doris Trammell October 24, 1996 in Graham.  Jim was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam.  He was a retired Police Officer and code enforcement for the City of Graham and was currently the Septic Inspector for Young County.  Jim was a member of Young County Masonic Lodge #485, Harley Owners Group, Reserve Deputy Sherriff of Young County, The Red Cross of Constantine, and Wichita Falls Commandery #59 as Eminent Commander.  

Survivors include: wife, Doris Dodson; daughter, Sandy Tripp; step-daughter, Kendra Dye; brother, Joe M. Dodson; 4 grandchildren.

Family visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
