Jim Norvelle

Jimmie Lee "Jim" Norvelle, 75, of Graham, Texas passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011 in Graham. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Graham with Dr. Richard Reed officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jim was born July 12, 1935 in Hobart, Oklahoma to the late Duke L. and Hattie O. (Jackson) Norvelle. He married Patsy Lajuan Nichols on January 19, 1958 in Amarillo, Texas. Jim retired from the Unisys Corporation as a computer engineer. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the Kiwanis Club of Graham and the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors: wife; Pasty Lajuan Norvelle of Graham, daughter; Dena Grant of Amarillo, son; James Norvelle of Evergreen, CO., sisters; Nancy McNutt of Newcastle, OK., Barbara Russell of South Bend, WA., brothers; Richard Norvelle of Kimberling City, MO., Gary Norvelle of Hobart, OK., grandchildren; Coy and Lee Grant, Lindsey, Lauren and Courtney Novelle. Four great grandchildren also survive.

Memorials may be made to the Kiwanis Club of Graham or Graham Regional Hospice.
