Jim Terry Singleton, 58, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 in Wichita Falls. Funeral will be held Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jim was born February 1, 1956 in Graham to Doris Montana Singleton and the late Dempsey Carson Singleton. He attended school in Woodson and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University. Jim was a farmer and rancher in Young County most of his life and also the parts manager at Graham Tractor Supply and a member of First Baptist Church in Woodson. He was the vice-president and former president of Murray Volunteer Fire Department, Board member and former President of Young County Rural Fire Department, and former FSA board member.

Survivors include; mother, Doris Walters of Murray; step-daughter, Meggan Edwards of Katy; stepson, Chase Galloway of Katy; sister, LaDonna Wailes and husband Jim of Murray; brother, Kelvin Singleton and wife Betty of Bryan; numerous nieces and nephews also survive; sister-in-law Vicky Singleton.

Jim was preceded in death by a son, Jim Terry Singleton, Jr. and brother, Dempsey Singleton.

Family Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
