Phyllis JoEtna "Jo" Caudill Palmer, 75, of Bunger, Texas passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010 in Bunger. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 10:30 am at the Cowboy Church Gatherin in Bunger with Pastor Jamey Burrus officiating. Burial will follow at Veal Creek Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home, Graham, Texas.
Jo was born July 22, 1935 in Kingman, Arizona to the late Kay A. and Phyllis (Barnes) Caudill. She married Delbert "Deb" Palmer on September 21, 1954 in Silver City, New Mexico. Jo retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone after 30 years of employment as a secretary. She was a member of the barrel racing organizations: WTBRA where she served as an officer and director, TOBRA, and in the Senior Division of the NBHA. Jo was a member of the Cowboy Church Gatherin in Bunger.
Survivors include husband, Deb Palmer of Bunger, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Cowboy Church Gatherin Arena Fund.
The family will receive friends Monday 5 until 7 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Graham, Texas.
