Joan Stratton Kiger

Joan Stratton Kiger, 85, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 in Rockwall. Graveside services will be held Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pioneer Cemetery Gazebo. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Joan was born November 22, 1928 in Graham to the late W.A. and Lillie Belle (Lisle) Stratton. She married George Wesley Kiger September 6, 1952 in Fort Worth. Joan was a Teacher and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include: husband, George Kiger of Rockwall; daughter, Gail Cullen and husband, Terry Cullen of Odessa; son, George Kiger, Jr. and wife, Jimi Kiger of Rockwall. She is also survived by grandchildren; Janian King and her husband David of Keller, Tiffani Anderson and her husband Jon of Rockwall, Shaw Kiger of Rockwall, and Ryan McKissack of Austin, and by her great grandson Miles King.

The Family will be at Morrison Funeral Home, Sunday from 12:30 till service time to greet friends.
