JoAnn Allen

JoAnn "Jody" Allen, 58, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011 in Graham. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jamey Burrus of Cowboy Church Gatherin' officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jody was born on November 25, 1952 in Greenville, South Carolina to Gay (Johnson) Hicks and the late Johnie Hicks. She married Rusty Allen on August 8, 1974 in Wichita Falls. Jody was a Supervisor at Media Recovery and a member of the Cowboy Church Gatherin'.

Survivors include: husband, L.F. "Rusty" Allen of Graham; daughter, Deidra Yvonne Allen of Graham; son, Kennon Allen and family of Maricopa, Arizona; mother, Gay Hicks of Iowa Park; brothers, Stephen Hicks and wife, Sherry of Iowa Park and Gregory Hicks and fiancé, Lisa of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Presley Marie Cox and Carley Faith Pounds; special aunt, Marion Gatlin; several nieces, nephews and special friends.

Memorials may be made to Graham Regional Hospice or Breast Cancer Research.

She was preceded in death by her father, Johnie Hicks.
