Joe Bill Farquharson

Joe Bill Farquharson, 83, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2010 in Graham. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Joe was born on September 2, 1927 in Bluegrove, Texas to the late Paul R. and Josephine Farquharson. He married Tina Fowler on July 1, 1954 in Graham. Joe was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II and received three medals. He was a Private Drilling Consultant in Evanston, Wyoming, a VA radiation survivor, and a lifetime member of the NRA.

Survivors include: wife, Tina Farquharson of Graham; daughter, Paula McClelland and husband, Al of Riverton, Wyoming; brother, Guy Farquharson and wife, Doylene of Graham; nephew, Tony Farquharson and wife, Meredith of Tyler; grandchildren, Aubrey and Dain Medow, Trevor and Kristin McClelland, Melissa Farquharson, Heather and KP Stromberg, and Stefanie Farquharson; 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by son Bill Shane Farquharson.

Memorials may be made to Oak Street Baptist Church.
