Joe King

Joe Michael King was born on February 9, 1974 in Wichita Falls to Mike and Alanna King. Christ called him home on October 15, 2015.

Joe is survived by the love of his life, Katy, his son and daughter; Nathan and Willow, brother; Wes, and mother; Alanna King.

Joe graduated from Graham High School in 1992 and went on to diesel mechanic school then worked with his dad in oil field construction. After his dad passed, he moved on and in the years that followed became a carpenter and loved building and creating all kinds of things. For Willow’s birthday last month, he built her an outdoor playhouse. One thing he truly loved was watching Nathan play ball. Joe enjoyed the solitude of fishing and would sit for hours on the riverbank behind his home. He was a very special person who was loved by everyone who knew him. He touched the lives of so many in so many different ways. We are thankful for all the special moments that he has left us and he will live on in our hearts and minds forever.

A memorial service will be held at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel in Graham at 1:00 on October 31st.

In lieu of flowers, donations for his children may be made to Joe King Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.
