Joe L. Price

Joe L. Price, 80, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at his home in Graham. A memorial service will be Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in First United Methodist Church with Dr. Bob Holloway officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Joe was born December 3, 1928 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to the late Judson and Mada Smith Price. He married Eleanor Rodgers December 31, 1946 in Plainview, Texas. She preceded him in death on April 8, 2006. Joe moved to Graham in 1997 from Lubbock. He was the former President of Energas a division of Atmos Energy in Lubbock. Joe was a fifty year member of Brownfield Masonic Lodge #903. He was a Shriner and member of the Graham Rotary Club and First United Methodist Church. Joe received the Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scouts of America.

Survivors include; daughters, Kim Wood and husband Bob of Keller and Kay Sherk of Plano; son, Kirk Price and wife Jill of Mansfield; sisters, Vesta Renfro of Pearl, MS. And Patricia Brown of Gatlinburg, TN.; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
