Joe Ramsey

Harold Joe Ramsey, 88, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in Graham. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church. The Family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Joe was born June 27, 1926 in Lockney to the late Guy and Ella Ramsey. He married Nita Bragg on his birthday June 27, 1948 in Tahoka, Texas. She preceded him in death January 28, 2007. They moved to Graham in 1985 from Plainview, Texas. Joe was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Graham. He was a farmer and a crop sprayer for 35 years.

Survivors include: daughter, Gail Bryant and husband Bill; sons, Wayne Ramsey and wife Leslie, Don Ramsey and wife Virginia, and Scott Ramsey and wife Benny; 10 grandchildren, Ramsey Bryant, Jake Bryant, Joanie Ownby and husband Robert, Meredith Ramsey, Ben Ramsey, Stan Ramsey and wife Lacy, Aaron Ramsey, Melody Vought, Holly English and Nathan English; 4 great grandchildren, Carter Ownby, Eli Ramsey, Quinton and Lyric Vought.
