John Bill Akers
John Bill Akers, 69, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in Graham. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Donnell Cemetery in Young County. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
John was born April 30, 1943 in Graham to the late W.A.J. "Bill" and Elizabeth "Billie" (Cossey) Akers. He was a Farmer and longtime resident of Young County.
Survivors include: sister, Barbara Stephens and husband, Ronald D. of Graham; niece, Jain Ranft and husband, Dan of Graham; nephews, Bruce Stephens and wife, Muriel of Graham, Drake Stephens and Brenda Barnhart of Graham, and Kenneth A. Daily and wife, Sammie of Graham.
He was preceded in death by sister, Carolyn Ann Daily.
