John Ed Bain

John Ed Bain, 92, of Graham, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 9:00am at the Woodson Cemetery in Woodson, Texas followed by a memorial service at 11:00am at the First United Methodist Church in Graham.

John was born October 4, 1923 in Silverton, Texas to the late John A. and Ethel (Crawford) Bain. He married Lola M. Bellah on November 22, 1952 in Lubbock, Texas. John was a sales engineer having worked in Lubbock for Clowe and Cowan for twenty seven years. He retired from Therm-Mech in Lubbock after eight years of employment. John was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp having attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was stationed in the Pacific on the Island of Peleliu. John was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: wife; Lola Bain of Graham,  numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Louise Bain.
