John B. Hockaday

John B. Hockaday, 82, died on Sunday, August 15, 2010 in Wichita Falls. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in Pioneer Cemetery with Dr. Richard Reed of First United Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

John was born on March 16, 1928 in Graham to the late Benton Samuel and Laulette (Morris) Hockaday. He was an auditor for the City of Dallas and was a member of the Kiwanis Club in Dallas and the Methodist Church.

Survivors include: sons, Michael Hockaday and wife, Robin of Palm Coast, Florida, Patrick Hockaday of Graham, and Timothy Hockaday of Royse City; grandchildren, Devon Hockaday of Jacksonville, Florida, Monica Seaton of Grapevine, Fallon Fortner of Palm Coast, Florida, and Chad Hockaday of Arlington; great grandson, Asa Fortner of Palm Coast, Florida.
