John Milton Camp

John Milton “Buddy” Camp, 93, passed away Monday, April 15, 2019 in Wichita Falls.  Graveside services will be Friday, April 19, 2019 at 11:00am in Newcastle Cemetery in Newcastle.  

Buddy was born March 10, 1926 in Newcastle, TX to the late William Leonadus “Lee” Camp and Mary Sue (Wade) Camp.  He married Betty Louise McGehee May 11, 1951 in Newcastle.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in Okinawa during World War II.  Buddy was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Newcastle.

Survivors include: wife, Betty Camp of Newcastle; daughters, Sheila Cobb and husband, Paul of Grapevine and Becky Wilke and husband, Hank of Arlington; brother, Larry Camp and wife, Pearlene of Graham; grandchildren, Adam Cobb, Jay Wilke, and John Ross Wilke; cousin, Lynn Fitzgerald; several nephews and a niece.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Hargrove and brother, Bobby Camp.

Buddy was a Carpenter by trade. He loved fishing, reading, watching sports and playing cards and dominos.
