Johnnie Erwin

Johnnie Henry Erwin, 67, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Joplin Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jack County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Johnnie was born October 13, 1946 in Jacksboro to the late John Benjamin Franklin and Lessie Mildred (Hall) Erwin. He married Frances Gaye Giddens May 29, 1970 in Graham. Johnnie was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and worked for Double L Industries.

Survivors include: wife, Frances Erwin of Graham, daughters, Ann Garrett-Erwin of Granbury and Kim Richards and husband, Josh of Graham; son, John Erwin of Graham; daughter-in-law, Crystal Garrett-Erwin of Granbury; brothers, Sherwin Erwin of Denton and Billy Ray Erwin of Denton; sister, Frankie Sprayberry of Krum; grandsons, Christopher Sutton-Richards of Graham, Jordan Garrett-Erwin, and Ashton Garrett-Erwin both of Granbury.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Breanda Erwin, Corenia Pitsinger, and Josephine Hensley and brothers, Jerry Erwin and Derwin Erwin.
