Johnnie Robertson

Johnnie Robertson, 82, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in Graham. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 at 10 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Medlan Chapel Cemetery in Young County. 

Johnnie was born January 27, 1943 in Fort Worth to the late John Thomas and Rachel (Strickland) Robertson, Jr. He married Joan Ainsworth March 12, 1966 in Bryson and was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. Johnnie worked for Safeway, Army 514th Military Police Platoon Prisoner of War Processing and retired from Graham ISD as Director of Maintenance & Transportation. He was a member of the Medlan Chapel Primitive Baptist Church and loved NASCAR. 

Survivors include: wife, Joan Robertson of Graham; daughter, Rebecca Browning and husband, Gary of Graham; sons, John Russell Robertson and wife, Wendy of Cleburne and Philip Robertson and wife, Mary of Graham; brothers, Douglas Robertson and wife Donna of Graham, David Robertson and wife, Patty of Graham, and George Robertson and wife, Tinna of Graham; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
