Johnny E. Allcorn

Johnny E. Allcorn, 89, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 in Fort Worth.  A Graveside funeral will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Johnny was born December 7, 1926 in Graham, Texas to the late John and Bertha Walker Allcorn.  He married Lugene Daves, July 30, 1948 in Breckenridge.  She preceded him in death on January 17, 1986.  Johnny was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church and American Legion.  Johnny retired from the Graham Independent School District working in the East Ward bus barn, then high school auto mechanic teacher, and later as maintenance foreman.

Survivors include: nephew, Bill Alcorn and wife Ruth of Graham; several great nieces and nephews including Daniel and Melissa Alcorn, Bob and Olga Alcorn, Brian Alcorn, Linda and Paul Moore, Diane and Allen Krause, Gary and Donna Sears, Jill and Gill Letwin, Sharon and John Holland, Keith and Gayle Maxey, Ed and Elena Meadows, Phyllis, and Frank Cain.
