Johnny Widner, Jr was best known as Daddy or PawPaw. He was a man who truly loved life. There was nothing he couldn’t fix or build: Downtown Hotels, Lake Dams, beautiful homes, and Lake Marinas. Generous to a fault and would give you the shirt off his back. He could be found most afternoons enjoying a cold beer and an El Producto Cigar after a hard day's work. If he was giving you a hard time, you knew he truly loved you. He enjoyed watching a good ole western; the neighbors could hear them in the later years too. He might have enjoyed a good ole honky tonk, but don’t tell his momma in heaven. When the good lord built him, he built a Good Ole Boy.
Johnny Widner, Jr went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 2, 2025, surrounded by family.
