Johnora Johnson

Johnora Johnson, 75, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 in Granbury. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Johnora was born on January 11, 1938 in Brownfield, Texas to John and Lorene Haynes. She was married to Noel T. Johnson in April of 1962. Johnora was a long time resident of Young County and active in the Eastern Star and the Desk & Derrick Club. She was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Graham, Texas. Near Retirement Johnora fulfilled her long-time dream of attending college and received her degree in History.

Survivors include: son, Travis Franklin of Graham; daughter, Cindy Cameron and husband Rob of Branson, Missouri; daughter Rebecca Lucas and husband Tom of Granbury, Texas; grandchildren, Libby Franklin, and great grandkids Alexanne and James; grandchildren Shelby, Zachary & Katy Lucas, Lindsey & Judson Sconce, Alicia Summers, Ashley Wright, and Austin and Audrey Cameron, Amy Crawford, and Travis Hill; brother Jay Haynes and wife Cindy and daughter Shay, and Cousin Courtney Ross.

She was preceded in death by husband Noel Johnson, and daughter Elizabeth Sconce. Johnora was a beloved wife, mother, grandma and Nana and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.mp at the funeral home.
