Joyce Shepard Bullock

Joyce Shepard Bullock, 94, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 in Graham.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 10 am in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Wray Cemetery in Young County.

Joyce was born April 25, 1928 in Goodnight, Texas to the late Jess General and Golda Mae (Maples) Shepard.  She married John R. Bullock February 10, 1949 in Cleburne and he preceded her in death January 6, 1996.  Joyce was a longtime resident of Young County and attended Fort Worth School of Cosmetology.  Joyce owned Charm Beauty Shop in Graham for several years.  She never met a stranger and loved cooking for her family and friends.  Joyce was a member of Newcastle Assembly of God Church. 

Survivors include: daughter, Brenda Waldrop and husband, Rennie of Graham; sons, Gayle Bullock and wife, Vicky of Poolville, Dale Bullock and wife, Mondie of Olney, Mike Bullock and wife, Jana of Krum, and Wayne Bullock of Newcastle; brother, Perry Shepard and wife, Lynda of College Station; sister, Sharon Watson and husband, Barry of Rosedale, California; sister-in-law, Charlene Shepard of Graham; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Troy Lee Shepard.

Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
