Joyce Averett Dierickx

Joyce Averett Dierickx, 85, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 in Olney. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery with Bill Cathey, her brother-in-law, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Joyce was born September 22, 1927 in Young County, Texas to the late Ross Monroe and Georgia Tomlinson Averett. She married Homer Bryan and he preceded her in death in 1987. She was a former beautician and a Baptist. She married Richard A. Dierickx and he preceded her in death in 2010. Joyce moved to Olney in 2011 from Arkansas.

Survivors include; sister, Imogene Teakell of Graham; brothers, Billy Averett and wife Judy of Olney and Arvel Averett and wife Doris of Granbury.

Joyce was preceded in death by a son Greg Bryan and a sister Alma Cathey.
