Joyce Howe Fore

Joyce Howe Fore, 84, died on Monday, January 11, 2010 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. in the Eastside Church of Christ with Dorman Holub officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Joyce was born on September 30, 1925 in Healdton, Oklahoma to the late Velmer Dean and Anna Elizabeth (Spires) Howe. She married J.B. Fore, Jr. on June 28, 1959 in Breckenridge. Joyce was a retired Registered Nurse and taught LVNs for a number of years through Cisco Jr. College. She was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary, Delta Kappa Gamma, and Eastside Church of Christ in Graham. She enjoyed China painting and was an active member of her local China Painting Club.

Survivors include: husband, J.B. Fore, Jr. of Graham; daughter, Donna Wampler of Bedford; sons, David Fore and wife, Rena of Graham and Jesse Fore and wife, Kammie of Graham; sisters, Blanche Byrd of Brownwood and Anne Mahan of Woodson; 8 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Williams.
