Juanita Maurine Hardin Burgess

Juanita Maurine Hardin Burgess, 85, passed away on December 5, 2009 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in DeLeon Cemetery in DeLeon, Texas under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Juanita was born on November 24, 1924 in Dowing, Texas to the late Daniel W. and Myrtle Agness (Sturdivant) Hardin. She married Ellis Burgess in June of 2000 in Graham and preceded her in death. Juanita was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Graham.

Survivors include: daughters, Helen Juanita "Ann" Decker and husband J.C. of Blackwell and Waketta Speh and husband Warren of Hartford, Connecticut; sons, Jimmy Hardin and wife Sue of Lynchburg, Tennessee, Gary Moore and wife Roseanne of Graham, Daniel Moore and wife Debbie of Chrystal River, Flordia, and John Stanford of Graham; brothers, Lloyd Hardin and wife, Vivian of DeLeon and Bill Hardin of DeLeon; 25 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Herman Joseph Hardin.
