Juanita Nellie Burkhart

Juanita Nellie Burkhart, 90, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Juanita was born October 6, 1927 in Littlefield to the late Herbert Woodrow and Frances Elizabeth (Wilson) Blair. She married John Wesley “J.W.” Burkhart September 10, 1950 in Tucumcari, New Mexico and he preceded her in death February 13, 2005. Juanita was a Registered Nurse and a lifetime member of Salem Crestview United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: daughter, Jerri Vaughn and husband, Daniel of Granbury; son, Jay Burkhart and wife, Mickie of Graham; grandchildren, Elizabeth Perchard, Matthew Vaughn, Kelli Hanks, and Troy Walton; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Pat Parker of Graham and Lou Stovall of Possum Kingdom Lake; brother, Herb Blair and wife, Oniece of Dallas.

She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Visitation will be held Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
