Judith Lynn Robinson

Judith Lynn Robinson, 61, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at her home in Newcastle. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11 a.m. in Faith Center.

Judith was born April 29, 1963 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late George Pete and Virginia Ann (Ferrell) Harden. Whether you know her by mom, Mimi, sister, or friend, you would have known her for her kind, loving spirit. You never left her home with an empty stomach, and you left feeling like you were a part of the family. She was a light to all who knew her and met her from the Walmart isles, treatment Centers, sports events, City Hall, park events, or church.

The joy of the Lord was her strength. She loved to make people laugh, so naturally April fools was her favorite day, she also wasn’t afraid to cry. Her grandkids and great grandkids brought so much joy, she was always present with the camera to catch the memories and she didn’t miss an opportunity to be a part of the life of her family, kids and grandkids even when she had to travel or move to be near them. So much so that they all live on high street together.

She loved history, animals, sitting on her porch in the mornings having coffee and conversations with her family and friends, star gazing from the trampoline, writing letters, singing and dancing in the rain, and working in her yards in the sunshine. She enjoyed sitting in the evening with Billy watching movies and cooking for her family. She would advocate for the lost and give the shirt off her back for anyone she thought would need it. The Newcastle park and community meant so much to her. Everything she did was to include and draw people together in love and fellowship. Everyone would gather just to get the chance to have her pot of Chilli, famous buttermilk pie or cactus jelly.

This life we live is fleeting, the love we share, the tears we shed and the laughter we have flies by in an instant. This journey has been a hard one but We live on this earth to serve Jesus and that’s what we have seen in our beautiful mom. She’s been a light to everyone she has met, and the peace in the middle of the storm. She taught us how to love those who nobody else sees, and serve selflessly everyone she met and knew. This was our precious Mom, Mimi, sister and friend.
