Judy Barnett

Judy E. Barnett, 73, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022 at her home in Graham.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Graham Church of God.  Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Judy was born March 10, 1949 in Graham to the late Billy Jay and Myrtice Marquita (Martin) Armstrong.  She married Gary Barnett April 15, 1967 in Glen Rose.  Judy retired as Director of Purchasing from Graham Regional Medical Center and played the piano at Graham Church of God for over 50 years. She loved music and her life was her family and church. Judy loved cooking for her church and kids. She fed the children at the church on Wednesday prayer meetings.

Survivors include: husband, Gary Barnett of Graham; daughters, Shannon Ingram and husband, Doug of Graham and Mechelle Barnett and husband, Steve Brown of Wichita Falls; siblings, Freida Armstrong of Graham, Billy J. Armstong, Jr. of Graham, and Penny Register and husband, Frank of Graham; grand girls, Laci Lipsey and husband Josh, Maegen Ingram, and Elizabeth Ingram; great grandchildren, Reese Rainwater, Braeden Rainwater, Jaxten Rainwater, Ryleigh Ingram, Lexi Lipsey, Titus Lipsey, and Loren Lipsey.

She was preceded in death granddaughter, Lindsay Ingram and great grandchildren, Trenten Ingram and Berkley Lipsey.

Memorials may be made to Church of God Children’s Ministry.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Graham Church of God.
