Katherine Ann Cooper

Katherine Ann Cooper ,84, passed away peacefully, at home in Graham, surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday July 30, 2024. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday August 3, 2024 in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

 Katherine was born October 23, 1939 in Lubbock to the late Ova Dell (Robertson) Taylor and James Milton Taylor. She married Jerry Cooper September 5, 1985 in Graford, Texas. He preceded her in death August 24, 2018. Katherine was a resident of Young County where she was involved in cattle ranching.

 Survivors include; daughter, Suzanne Surber and husband Ronald of Graham; step-daughter, Tracey Thompson and husband Paul of Anna Marie Island, FL.; grandchildren, Sawncy Jones, Sabrina Ambs, Jason Surber, and Jeremy Surber; eight great grandchildren. 

 Katherine was preceded in death by her eldest son Greg Morrison, her youngest Lee Morrison and a grandson Dalton Anderson.

 Open visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
