Katherine Jacobson

Katherine Ann Jacobson, 58, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 in Olney. Memorial services will be held Monday, February 10, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Katherine was born July 30, 1955 in Fort Worth to Jim Nall and Norma Jean (Reasoner) Porter and raised by Harold and Norma Porter. She married Roy Alonzo Jacobson and he preceded her in death. Katherine married Todd William Schroeder and she worked for Valcon Industries as a security officer. Katherine loved spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include: children, Karl Jacobson of Flagstaff, AZ, Wesley Jacobson of Flagstaff, AZ, Estacia Bruce of Graham, David Jacobson and wife, Diamond of Weatherford, Mickey Schroeder and wife, April of Austin, and Megan Schroeder and fiance Weston of Olney; mother, Norma Porter of Mineral Wells; sister, Billie Fisher of Keller; brother, Stacy Porter and wife, Lecia of Houston; grandchildren, Colton, Ashlyn, Kaycie, Cailyn, Mitchell, Kayla, David, Savannah, Payton, Indiana, Dylon, Melody, James, and Austin; special dog, Chewy.

Memorials may be made to Young County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
