Kathryn Ada Boaz

Kathryn Ada Boaz, 89, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in Graham. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Raymund Mullan officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Kathryn was born October 4, 1921 in Jacksboro, Texas to the late Norman Leslie and Helen Emma (Mays) Stewart. She married Fred Paul Boaz, August 26, 1952 in Fort Worth. He preceded her in death on November 3, 1996.

Kathryn moved to Graham in 1952, she was a member of Graham Hospital Auxiliary, Charter member of Graham Women's Club, member of Silas Morton Chapter DAR, Lady Golfers Assn., and St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a former bookkeeper, secretary, and housewife.

Survivors include; brother, Norman Mays Stewart of Lubbock; also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.

Kathryn was preceded in death by a sister, Neva Jo Hammer.
