Kenneth Ray Wooldridge

Kenneth Ray Wooldridge, 70, left this earth to be with his Lord and Saviour on Thursday, February 3, 2011 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Faith Center Assembly of God. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

A lifelong resident of Graham, Kenneth married his wife Lola on July 14, 1959. He lived a full life and cherished time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He loved to go fishing and was an avid gardener and never met a stranger. Kenneth was so proud to watch his grandchildren play sports and never missed a game if he could help it. He also instilled the appreciation of the outdoors in the rest of his family. He loved telling stories about vacationing in Colorado, catching paddlefish, attending shows in Branson, working in the oilfield and listening to his wife and friends sing in the weekly jamboree. His infectious smile and comforting nature will be missed by all those who love him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence, his mother, Lela, and sister, Ann Cody.

He is survived by his wife, Lola and their four children, daughters, Robbie Casteel and husband Doug and Misti Gleason and husband Jeff; sons, Wayne Wooldridge and wife, Gloria Jensen and Darren Wooldridge all of Graham; grandchildren, Jennifer and Jason, Kimberly and Brian, Lindsey, Mark, and Liz, Corey, Hydi, Skye and Kylie; great-grandchildren Samuel, Zachary and Tyler; and siblings, Jerry Dale Wooldridge, Barbara Carnley, Brenda Wooldridge, Donna Thornbrue and Jan Shifflett. He also leaves behind a much beloved dog, Maggie.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
