Kinneth Zack Burk

Kinneth Zack Burk, 92, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011 in Graham. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Burk, Kinneth's grandson, officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Kinneth was born on May 29, 1918 in Graham to the late Daniel Wesley and Betty (Robbins) Burk. He married Lois Odell Hall on September 25, 1947 in Graham. She preceded him in death on October 6, 1994. Kinneth moved to El Centro, California in 1970 and was employed at Burke Oil Company and returned to Graham in 1983. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II and a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include: daughter, Kathy Ward of Graham; son, Robert Burk and wife, Paula of Graham; step-daughters, Sandra Prichard of Euless, Peggy Phillips of Mesquite, and Sharon Anders of Vernon; brother, Glenn Burke and wife, Phoebe of El Centro, California; 3 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six brothers, three sisters, two sons, and a son-in-law, Billy Ward.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
