LaFerne "Fern" McCoy

LaFerne "Fern" McCoy, 83, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 in Wichita Falls.  Graveside service will be Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Gooseneck Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Fern was born May 30, 1935 in Wichita Falls to the late Robert Ferne and Harquette Hasta (Tedford) Moody.  She married C.B. McCoy August 15, 1968 and he preceded her in January 14, 2000.  Fern was a waitress at Bullocks Cafe and a longtime resident of Young County.

Survivors include: sister, Pat Zelmer of Olney; nephew, Rick Moody and wife, Judy of Lakin, Kansas; great nieces, Carol Douglas and Rhandi Rexroat; a great great niece and 4 great great nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie Fred Moody and Robert Moody.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
