Lance W. House

Lance W. House, 42, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011 in Dallas from complications of a kidney transplant earlier this year. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Segars officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Lance was born April 28, 1969 in Graham. He graduated from Graham High School and Baylor University with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Science and later a Masters Degree in Geriatric Science. Lance was a member of the Chamber of Commerce at Baylor University. He was a resident of Palestine, Texas where he was the administrator of TruCare Living Center. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Rotary Club. Lance loved Baylor University sporting events and traveling.

Survivors include; parents, Jim and Sandra House of Graham; grandmother, Mary Jim House of Graham; aunts, Charlotte Williams of Graham and Shirley Morton of Floydada; cousins, Julie Ellison of Lockney, Melinda Turner of Lubbock, Shelley Sokolosky of Graham, and Jim Bob Williams of Bangs.

Lance was preceded in death by grandparents, G.C. House, Gladys Rhea, and J.D. Orr.

Memorials may be made to; First Baptist Church Graham or Young County Humane Society.

The Family will be at Morrison Funeral Home Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. to greet friends.
