Laura Susan Edwards

Laura Susan Edwards, 63, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 in Graham.

Laura was born on January 25, 1957 to James Bert Ecker and Ruth Ann Ecker (Garner) in Jacksonville, Florida. She married Joe Allen Edwards on September 9, 1976 in Elko, Nevada. Laura was a dutiful wife and a loving mother who took great passion in providing and caring for her family.  As a person, she was slow to anger and quick to love, as a Christian she never cast the first stone and forgave unconditionally. As a friend, she was an unwavering rock, always ready with an ear to listen and a hand to help. Laura was deeply loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Laura is survived by her husband, Joe Edwards of Graham; daughters, Stacy McCurdy of Sealy, Cori Wenninger of Sealy, Ruth Partin of Sealy, and Danielle Edwards of Albany; sons, Joseph Edwards of Graham, and Allen Edwards of Lubbock, thirteen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
