Lee Winston "Poke" Hearne, 88, of Loving, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Lee was born October 24, 1924 in Newcastle to the late Charlie Lee and Jessie Cleo (Mays) Hearne. He married Lois Moody May 28, 1947 in Graham. Lee worked for Graham ISD as a custodian and was a longtime resident of Young County. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include: wife, Lois Hearne of Loving; sons, Ray Hearne and wife, Caren of Olney and Darrell Hearne and wife, Debbie of Graham; brother, Claud Hearne of Olney; 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother O.B. Hearne.
Family visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
