Lena Marie Dawson

Lena Marie Dawson, 55, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at her home. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery.

Lena was born March 13, 1963 in Grapevine, Texas to the late Ira Edwin and Mattie Lois (Edmonds) Wilkerson. She married J.R. Dawson September 27, 1984 in Abilene. Lena was a former employee of Graham Independent School District working in the Junior High School cafeteria.

Survivors include; husband, John Randall Dawson of Graham; son, Randall Dawson and wife Meagan of Graham; sisters, Mary Wilkerson of Graham and Katherine Johnson of Onalaska, TX.; two grandchildren, Tara and Calen Dawson; god daughters, Crystal Noyola and Sarah Albritton.

Lena was preceded in death by a son, Matthew “Spanky” Dawson in 2009.
