Leola May Burdick

Leola May Burdick, 98, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011 in Graham. Funeral will be Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Loving Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Leola was born May 13, 1912 in Loving to the late Ollan and Etha McCluer Bratcher. She married Arthur E. Burdick, December 21, 1927 in Graham. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1992. Leola was a homemaker, rancher, farmer and a lifetime member of Texas Southwest Cattle Raisers Association. She was a lifetime resident of Young County and a member of the Loving Baptist Church.

Survivors include numerous relatives including; Laura Loving, Chris Cook, Charlene Shepard, Don Burdick, and Maurine McCluer.

Leola was preceded in death by a brother, L.G. Bratcher and a niece, Sandra Loving.
