Leola Thomas, 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in Graham. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Jack County. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Leola Ruth Hicks was born on July 25, 1929 in Fisher County, Texas to the late Albert and Beatrice Lee (Bellar) Hicks. She was married and had two sons by her first marriage and later married Floyd Earl Thomas in Wichita Falls in 1973.
Survivors include: husband, Floyd Thomas of Graham; sons, Gary Gilmore of College Station, Loren Gilmore of Madisonville, and Bruce Thomas of Graham; sister, Olene Bowling of Holiday; brother, Billy Wayne Hicks of Altus, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
