Leta Browder

Leta Browder, 102, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 in Richardson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mrs. Browder was born to the late Wiley and Elizabeth (Spradlin) Stephens on January 9, 1911 in Young County. She married Bert Browder in February 1934 in Graham. He preceded her in death August 19, 1973. She lived most of her adult life in Graham, working as a beautician, bookkeeper, sales clerk, and was a volunteer with the Graham Hospital Auxiliary. Mrs. Browder was a member of First Baptist Church, where she taught childrens Sunday School for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Elizabeth Stephens; six brothers, Cecil, Ed, Euel, Bill, Elton & Welby Stephens; two sisters, Una Crum & Etna Reeves.

Survivors include: daughter, Sandra Doll and husband, Brent; two stepgrandsons, Matthew and Peter Doll all of Dallas.

Family visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
