Leta M. Harrell

Leta Harrell, 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Graham Friday, January 22, 2021.  Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Gazebo in Pioneer Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Leta was born August 25, 1931 in Bryson, Texas to the late Etha Eliza (Coonrod) Ashley and Harry Ashley.  She married Edward Harrell December 23, 1947.  He preceded her in death February 23, 2019.  Leta was a member First United Methodist Church Graham and past member of Cracker Town Sams.  She was an extremely talented seamstress and love to crochet.

Survivors include; daughter, Pam Erwin and husband Aaron; sons, Freddie Harrell and Ronnie Harrell and wife Karon all of Graham; grandchildren, Lisa McGehee, Virgil Willis, Aaron Erwin, Jr. and wife Amy, Laura Kay Grayson and husband Will, and Frankie Erwin and wife Taylor; seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Leta was preceded in death by daughter, Jean Adams, great grandson, Awetry Erwin, and siblings, Edith Irene Harden, Maudi Pearl Ashley, Alonzo Howard (Pete) Ashley, Clarence Alford Ashley, Francis Marion (Corky) Ashley, Freddie Bruce Ashley, Irvan Homer Ashley, Arthur Edward Ashley, and Floyd Harold Ashley.
