Linda Jean Haire Kunkel

Linda Jean Haire Kunkel, 71, entered into her heavenly rest on November 25, 2011 in Fort Worth. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. A memorial service at North Richland Hills Baptist Church will follow at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2011.

Linda was born on December 31, 1939 in Jacksboro to the late Joseph and Helen Josephine (Malone) Haire. She married Elmer Ray Kunkel on August 16, 1958 in Graham. He preceded her in death on February 26, 2004. Linda was a retired educator from Birdville ISD and her life was a living witness for her savior Jesus Christ.

Survivors include: sons, Ralph Kunkel and wife, Sharon of North Richland Hills, Kelly Kunkel and wife, Melinda of Ranger, and Mike Kunkel and wife, Cynthia of North Richland Hills; 7 grandchildren; brother, John Haire and wife, Betty of Mesquite; sister, Helen Mills and husband, Gerald of Missouri; several nieces and nephews.
