Lois L. DeLong

Lois L. DeLong, 80, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 in Graham. A Memorial service will be held Monday, February 11, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in First United Methodist Church Newcastle. Burial will be held prior to the service in Newcastle Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Lois was born April 19, 1932 in Amherst, Texas to the late Antone Tribune and William
Edna (Stevens) Smith. She married James DeLong, January 17, 1950 in Wichita Falls. Lois was a retired nurse's aide, housewife and longtime resident of Graham. She was also an artist and nationally published poet. She was a member of Newcastle Methodist Church.

Survivors include: husband, James E. DeLong of Graham; daughter, Margaret Fulbright and husband John of Graham; sons, David DeLong of Graham and Andy Delong and wife Vicki of Denton; grandchildren, Thomas, Lindsey, and Jordan Allen, Emily Grivon and husband George, Alex DeLong, Jane Snyder and husband Shay, Chris Norris and wife Emily, Angie Roznovsky and husband Kevin
, Kenneth, Vickie and Lori Fulbright; 18 great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, as well as a niece Gloria Smith Bragg, her daughter and granddaughter.

The Family will receive visitors at Morrison Funeral Home Monday from 1:00 until service time Monday.

The Family asks that memorial donations be made to First United Methodist Church Newcastle, Hwy 380 at Monroe Street.
