Lois Alverta McMahan Gordon

Lois Alverta McMahan Gordon passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 in Graham, Texas. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2010 at First United Methodist Church in Graham, Texas at 10:30 am and Monday, May 24, 2010 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Waterville, Kansas at 2:00 pm.

Lois was born May 18, 1918 to Aura and Maude (Howard) McMahan in Logan, Kansas, and spent most of her life in Marshall County, Kansas. She married Robert E. Gordon on July 4, 1939.

She is survived by: two sons, James Gordon and wife, Pat of Troutville, Virginia and John Gordon and wife, Lisa of Highland Park, Illinois; two daughters, Lynne Dechairo and husband Tom of Graham, Texas and Rebecca Moreno and husband, Die Hard of Alamogordo, New Mexico; 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandsons.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Aura and Maude, two brothers, Harley and Cleo McMahan, sister, Vernita Thomas, son, Phillip Gordon, three husbands, Robert Gordon, DeRoin Vogler, and Gilbert Malmstrom, a grandson, and a great grandson.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Graham, Texas.
