Louis F. Donnell, Jr., passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2011 in Graham. Burial will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. in the Donnell Cemetery in Eliasville and a Memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church in Graham with Reverend Randy Branson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Louis was born on October 3, 1941 in Graham to the late Louis F. Donnell Sr. and Margurite (Price) Donnell. He graduated from Graham High School in 1960 and received his BS in Agriculture Economics from East Texas State College in 1965. He married Linda Burson on June 24, 1968 in Kerrville. He served in the Texas Air National Guard. He was an independent oil operator and producer for 36 yrs and a rancher. Louis was a past member of the North Texas Oil & Gas Association and a member of the
Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and a Deacon in the First Presbyterian Church in Graham. He is now with his Heavenly Father and suffers no more. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include: wife, Linda Donnell of Graham; daughters, Molly Donnell of Fort Worth, Texas, and Mary Donnell Davis of Huntsville, Alabama, two grandchildren, Colton and Logan Davis; sister, Eileen Buckley and husband, James of Graham. He is also survived by two nephews and two great nieces and numerous cousins.
