Lucetta Harbison

Lucetta Harbison, 72, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012 in Graham. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Lucetta was born February 1, 1940 in Graham to the late Annie Lucile Morrison Harbison and Samuel Brents Harbison. She was the great granddaughter of John E. Morrison, early settler in Graham and founder of Morrison Funeral Home. Lucetta graduated from Graham High School and received her bachelor of arts degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas in 1962. After returning to Graham she worked for Bruce and Boyd Street at Graridge Corporation. In 1966 she joined the family business and after her mother's death became the owner of Morrison Funeral Home. She continued to be at Morrison Funeral Home until her death. Lucetta was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, a deacon, and treasures of the Women of the Church.

Survivors include: several cousins and their families and the staff at Morrison Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church or a favorite charity.
