Lucille McCracken

Lucille Shackelford McCracken, 89, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Possum Kingdom Lake. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Tell Methodist Cemetery in Tell, Texas under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Lucille was born October 23, 1923 in Childress to the late William Henry and Minnie "Pearl" (Goff) Shackelford. She married John George McCracken April 13, 1940. He preceded her in death January 11, 1962. Lucille was a school cafeteria manager and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include: sons, John McCracken and wife, Jannet of Possum Kingdom Lake and Henry McCracken and wife, Ruth of Possum Kingdom Lake; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Brenda Pearl McCracken, sister, Lacille Walker, brothers, Bee and Raymond Shackelford, a grandchild, and a great grandchild.
