July 10, 1952- December 23, 2012

S. Lynn Armstrong went home to the Lord on December 23, 2012 after battling an illness at her home in Northport, Alabama. Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 3rd, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Veal Creek Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home, with Rev. Frankie Bailey officiating.

Lynn is survived by her husband of 37 years, Richard Armstrong of Northport, Alabama, her son Ace Bailey and his wife Kimberly of Northport, Alabama, her daughter Michael Horne and her husband Matthew of Phoenix, Arizona, her sisters Sandra Brumley and her husband Frank of Graham, Patsy Wright of Tyler , and Gaby Rolf of Frankfurt, Germany. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, M.C. and Ruby Barron, and her sister Evonne Rash all of Graham.

Lynn lived her life for the Lord and her family. She touched each and every person she met and all the friends her kids brought home were loved and cared for as if they were her own. She enjoyed baking, gardening, bird watching, and Alabama football , but true happiness for her was crafting with her sister, laughing with her daughter, listening to her son sing, and slow dancing with her husband.
