Madi was born December 1, 2005 in Decatur, Texas to Jeff and Geri (Mooney) Hutson. Madi attended Pioneer Elementary School and was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church. She loved her friends, animals, loved to bake cookies, and always greeted everyone with a smile. Madi's sister, brothers and sister-in-law were the light of her life and she loved them dearly as they did her. After Madi's battle was won Jeff wrote: Madi Grace Hutson is with Jesus. Her body remains here. She has a pulse and is on a ventilator. She continues to get an IV. No more treatment except comfort. She will be missed like nobody's business. I love that precious little girl. I know Jesus loved the Angel. My heart is broken but she is sucking her thumb with Jesus because he will not try to make her stop like we were. She fought a good fight. I love Her, please pray for my family.
She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Geri Hutson of Graham; sister Sara Elizabeth Hutson of Graham; brothers, Daniel and wife Emmy of Brownwood, Zak and Nate Hutson of Graham; paternal grandparents, Gerald and Ann Hutson of Graham.
Madi was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Jerry and Nancy Mooney.
